Business partners

A Salmon Nation business partner is any business or organization actively involved in activities that support the restoration of bioregional vitality. These partners may use the Salmon Nation logo and co-brand with their own products or services. Salmon Nation business partnerships often involve either formal licensing of the brand or payment to Salmon Nation in some other form, either as direct payment or in-kind services. A business partnership is not a certification relationship; it is a collaboration to catalyze change.

Please support our past and current partners!

Rogue Ales

SN AleTwo Nations, the Rogue Nation and Salmon Nation, came together with the goal of improving our neighborhoods, watersheds, and promoting responsible use of our natural resources. Both nations stretch across arbitrary boundaries and include citizens who believe in integrating themselves into their community by allying themselves with tribes, fishermen, farmers, ranchers, loggers, factory workers, soldiers, and urban dwellers — all working together. A portion of sales from the Salmon Nation Ale were donated to Salmon Nation.

Salmon Safe

A natural fit, Salmon Safe has been a Salmon Nation partner since the beginning. In 2003, Salmon Safe and Salmon Nation produced a series of billboards in the Portland Metro area.

K-lynn Fisheries

World CupIn 2003, Salmon Nation citizen John Warner bought a used Ryder® truck to distribute locally-caught wild salmon to markets in San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle. John had leased and renovated a fish processing plant on Charleston's waterfront and opened K-Lyn Fisheries, a buying station and processor where local fishermen can offload their catch. Daunted by the signature yellow of the truck, Warner decided to go with Salmon Nation red.

Wieden + Kennedy

World CupIn 2001, Ecotrust worked with the ad agency Wieden + Kennedy to brainstorm how Salmon Nation might take on a life of its own.

Pictured here is a mock-up of mural on a building; Wieden + Kennedy playfully imagined these sorts of signs proudly displayed by a variety of cities up and down the coast.
